The Vose Farm Residences Art & Design Program is a curated initiative to infuse the building’s shared spaces with warmth, creativity, and character—transforming a well-constructed residence into a place that feels alive, inspiring, and reflective of its community and Catholic Charities values. Through thoughtfully selected artwork, design elements, and visual storytelling, the program seeks to:
- Create welcoming, engaging, and memorable spaces or residents, staff, and visitors.
- Celebrate the local landscape, adjacent Contoocook River, the history and community spirit of Peterborough and the Monadnock region.
- Incorporate diverse creative elements—including artwork, photography, murals, furnishings, color palettes, materials, and signage—that reinforce a cohesive visual identity.
- Foster a sense of pride and connection among residents by making common areas feel cared for and distinct.
- Offer moments of interest and delight, encouraging people to pause, reflect, or connect.
The program will be implemented in phases, starting with key interior common spaces and expanding over time to include exterior focal points such as trailhead markers, garden features, or sculptural seating, especially relevant as nature trails and outdoor amenities evolve.
