How do I get on the wait list?
Application materials for Phase 1 of Vose Farm Residences will soon be available for download online , or you can contact our property management company for a mailed application by using the phone number or email address listed below.
Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and will be processed in the order they are received. The review of completed applications will begin in October, with move-ins commencing in January.
Once the apartments have been filled, any additional applications will be added to the waitlist. Make sure you submit your application as soon as possible.
What do I do if there is no wait list?
Demand for housing is high and supply is low. Often wait lists are long and the application periods, when open, are only for a limited amount of time due to high levels of applicants. We recommended that you contact us to get specific information about applying for units and wait list openings you may qualify for.
Will there be traffic issues with this new housing?
A traffic study was completed during the project’s approval process and it was concluded that the average number of vehicle trips generated each day was 50 trips fewer than with the previous commercial use.
Is this housing project going to affect local
property values?
Prior to approval, it was determined by a third-party real estate advisor that the proposed Vose Farm housing project would not diminish the value of surrounding properties or otherwise negatively impact the neighboring properties. In fact, the Vose Farm Residences may actually contribute to an increase in neighboring property values because of its attractive design and superior property management practices.
Is Vose Farm a safe place to live?
Peterborough is a safe community and Vose Farm Residences does its part to ensure that residents feel safe. That includes:
- Security cameras, systems, and well-lit exterior property and interior common areas.
- Secured access to all exterior and interior doors using state-of-the-art electronic key fobs instead of traditional keys.
- On-site property management and resident services team members.
- Fully-sprinkled buildings and on-site fire hydrants.
Vose Farm adheres to very high standards and employs stringent tenant screening practices. If a resident is found to be involved in illegal activity, eviction proceedings are strictly followed.
How long will I need to wait for an apartment?
Demand for housing is high and supply is low. Although we work hard to move qualified applicants into available apartments as quickly as possible, wait lists can be unpredictable. Although apartments do become available each year, it is not possible to predict when the next available apartment might be ready. We recommended that you reach out to our property manager, Alliance Asset Management, for more specific information about your place on the wait list.
Who will be managing the Vose Farm Residences apartments?

What is an RSC?
RSC stands for Resident Services Coordinator. RSCs assist residents in multifamily rental housing by connecting them with the available community supports and services needed to live independently and maintain their overall well-being.
What does “Income Qualified” housing mean?
Vose Farm Residences is made possible through a combination of public/private partnerships, equity investors committed to housing equality, public support, and financial structures that reduce construction and operating costs. This approach to project financing allows for manageable debt service (mortgage payments) that enables rental rates to be offered at various levels below the market average.
To rent an income qualified apartment, prospective residents must first meet certain income restrictions which are based on a percentage of the area median income (AMI). AMI is the mid- point of household income range in a given geographic area. At Vose Farm Residences, the rental rates for 95% of the units are capped for families, individuals, and those age 62 and over who earn up to 50% and 60% of the area median income.
